Jenn Hoffman

With MAs in both Disaster and Emergency Management and in Education, combined with over twenty-five years of experience as a director, strategist, communications and development specialist, and evaluator in the the environment, sustainability, and education sectors, Jenn is well-positioned to help organizations deliver on their mission-driven work.
Passionate about environmental sustainability and social justice, Jenn excels in building strategic partnerships and advancing innovative projects, including those focused on the climate/disaster risk reduction nexus and that strengthen community and environmental resiliency. Her current efforts include helping clients to reduce disaster risk, strengthen community resiliency, and foster Canada’s low-carbon transition.
Jenn currently serves as a Principal with Highwatermark Strategy and Communications. Highwatermark helps government agencies, non-profits, and social values-driven businesses create positive change. Since 2005 Highwatermark has been working with their clients to plan better, improve their operations, manage risk and build resiliency, and better measure the change their work is creating. Jenn also serves as Vice President of Development for the Academy for Sustainable Innovation, which is focused on building the next generation equipped to lead Canada's transition to a low-carbon economy.
