Marc Pellerin


Member of the X-Generation with deep experience of strategic management and world affairs. I have more than 25 years of interesting experiences as a project manager, strategic and operational planner, management consultant and research professional for a variety of organizations both in Canada and within the United Nations System, in 10 countries, namely in Senegal, Haiti, Malawi, Libya, Central African Republic, Burundi, Chad, Republic of South Sudan, Guinea-Bissau and Mali.  Along the years I developed a rich managerial and leadership experience in the coordination/management of complex inter-organizational initiatives and as specialist of development cooperation, humanitarian assistance, peacekeeping, peacebuilding and diplomatic affairs.

I have a bachelor’s degree in political sciences (B.Sc.) from the University of Montreal and a master's diploma (M.Sc.) in business management from HEC-Montreal. I am also a graduate of the renown Pearson Peacekeeping Center and holds the International Diploma in Humanitarian Assistance (IDHA) from Fordham University in addition of being a certified ISO 31000 Risk Manager and ISO 37001 Lead Implementer Anti-Bribery Management System. My last assignment was as Head of the Executive Office of the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, and Head of the UN Mission in Mali.
