About:

I am an experienced Access to Finance professional specializing in expeditious implementation of global good practices by adapting them to ground realities and norms. I have found that although acceptably adapted solutions often vary due to some differences, they are never 180-degrees different from how things function in other parts of the world.

As a development consultant focusing on access to financial services/financial inclusion, I have leveraged the financial services and project management knowledge, experience and skills earned working for many years at numerous multinational and multilateral financial services organizations.

I am continuously striving to excel in the international development space by taking on challenging roles as I have found them to be my best teachers. As a result I have also delved into cluster and value chain development in addition to access to markets activities.

As a project manager, at International Finance Corporation (IFC) and other assignments since leaving the World bank Group (WBG), I have experience across business lines and functions in developing innovative solutions to age old issues in a multitude of product lines namely micro, small and medium enterprise finance, financial inclusion, digital financial services, deposit mobilisation, credit guarantee funds, sustainable energy finance, financial products development, risk management, market segmentation, affordable housing finance, financial infrastructure and financial sector policy assessment.

I have designed international development projects using theory of change analysis, problem tree analysis and logical frameworks including planning monitoring & evaluation strategies based on market assessments, scoping and feasibility studies.

My experience has been mainly in working with the financial sector in developing private sector financial institutions, central banks and related stakeholders such as credit guarantee funds, credit information bureaus, companies registries, etc.

Demonstrable Skills: Project management, innovative program design, relationship management.
