Cowater is currently recruiting a Project Manager for an upcoming municipal and agricultural development project in Cuba. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish. The successful candidate will be based in Ottawa, Ontario for a term of 5 years.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, human and financial resource management, and financial reporting of multi-year, complex assignments (CAD 3 million or more)
- Post-graduate qualifications in a related discipline
- Additional certifications or training in project management, results based management, human resource management, or similar
- Significant experience in managing projects related to food security or agricultural development
- Experience in sustainable agricultural production practices
- Experience in gender equality integration
- Experience in the provision of capacity building services that include technical assistance and development of training materials
- Experience managing projects in development or transitioning Latin American countries, experience in Cuba is an asset
- Professional fluency in Spanish
