2022 Programming

  • Disinformation and International Development: On Dec. 5th, 2022, CAIDP hosted a panel discussion for Parliamentarians on Disinformation and Canada’s International Development Efforts, including Canada’s ability to support democratic reforms and governance in developing nations via Zoom.
  • New Overseas Assignment Directive (OAD): On Sept. 28th, 2022, Global Affairs Canada (GAC) presented its new Overseas Assignment Directive (OAD) which will replace the Technical Assistance Handbook (TAH). It will focus more on duty of care and offer the possibility of joining a new group insurance policy for which GAC will cover 50% of the cost.
  • Meeting our Minister: A Conversation on Canada's International Cooperation in 2022, February 2022 (recording should soon be available)
