Communications Advisor

As a volunteer, you will coordinate the design of community engagement mechanisms such as communication campaigns and community sessions to empower vulnerable women and girls and civil society groups to access and use gender-responsive programs and services offered by government institutions. Additionally, you will build the capacity of government staff through training on best practices for community engagement including requisite structures and processes for sustainability.

Research Intern

CLIC Consulting, based in Ottawa, is seeking an intern to assist Senior Researchers from September to November to conduct a Legacy Study of Canada's ODA to the CARICOM region. We will be seeking to review numerous documents archived at GAC and at Carleton University's repository of documents from the former CIDA and to filter out the pertinent information about Canada's role, impact, successes and lessons learned since 1972. A student or graduate in international affairs or international development and cooperation and based in Ottawa/Gatineau would be ideal. We anticipate 6-8 hours per week for 2-3 months.
