The Canadian Council for International Co-operation (CCIC) and Canadian Association of International Development Professionals (CAIDP) are pleased to announce that the Honorable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and Minister for La Francophonie, has accepted their invitation to address representatives of Canadian civil society organizations and other professionals working in international development.
This is a letter to Deputy Minister Paul Rochon regarding the New Performance Security Requirement on International Development Contracts clause that recently appeared in several RFPs. On Monday April 29, 2013, the federal government tabled Bill C-60 in Parliament. This Budget Bill contains the new legislation that formalizes the amalgamation of the Canadian International Development Agency and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
